Applications of Acriflavine:
· Neutral form of Acriflavine is less irritating than the Hydrochloride form.
· Odorless reddish brown powder used in dilute aqueous solutions primarily as topical antiseptic or given orally as urinary antiseptic.
· Acriflavine is widely used in Aquaculture as treatment for external fungal infections of fish.
